666 to HEL

Ok, this is a bit silly (even for me) but I find it a trifle amusing as in seeing funny letter combos on car registration plates.

The Finnair flight AY666 from Copenhagen (CPH) to Helsinki (HEL) made it's last flight on Friday the 13th.

Depending on your numerology leanings, it will be a better or worse flight name. The destination, HEL, will be there for the foreseeable future. Since Finnish ≠ Norse, and Hel is from Norse mythology, maybe we are safe anyway. In Swedish (a significant linguistic minority in Finland) "hel" means "whole", the word for "hell" is "helvete", "death + punishment". That's what happens when you mix religions and cultures 😉

Not like anyone care one iata...
