One of the more famous creators in free culture is Nina Paley. In my humble opinion, she is brilliant. She recently published some new Mimi and Eunice cartoons. Here is one:

Nina Paley releases her work not as a CC license but as "♡ Copying is an act of love. Please copy and share.". It is thus much freer than the CC license I use for my blog. I should probably change mine to a freer one...
