This spring is very late.
Still a thin layer of icy snow on most ground. The ground is still deep frozen and nights are quite cold, so the melting is very slow, despite being mostly sunshine for weeks. We had a lot better weather here than in most of Europe, I think. But not even a snowdrop in sight. That is late, bordering on the weird.
Last year, spring was early. So early that there was an abundance of hepatica in our garden in March.
Let's hope the cold kills a lot of the Arion Vulgaris. They are a bloody pest.
