Baked again

I have periods of avoiding ordinary bread. Recently I have been making sourdough bread, and also bread with the only flour being oats.

Today it was time to make a yearly stack (stash?) of Yule bread, which I have written about before, which can be used as comparison.

Today I made one without rye, only spelt, which made it a lot lighter. I also combined yeast with sourdough. It turned out fine, although I should have spiced it more. I hope visitors will enjoy it, or at least not get sick 😛

Swedish fun fact: "sourdough" can be used as a metaphor for an old problem that has not been fixed. Can also be used for some old grief/discontent in a social group. Maybe a modernity metaphor, from a time when sourdough was seen as a thing of the past.
