Another beer post.

Last summer my brother visited Germany, and he brought me back a surprise gift.
He knows I like abbey beers, and he visited (as a tourist) the magnificent Benedictine kloster (same word in German and Swedish) Ettal, which has been brewing beer since 1609!

This is not Trappist style, so not near as strong and rich as what I mentioned in my previous post. If you think abbey beer is too heavy and strong, this might be more to you liking. Unless you usually drink some light mass produced industry swill. Then you might best stick to that.

I only had three bottles left when I thought of taking a picture, but I hope you get the idea. Not too bad if you ask me. Ladies can of course also enjoy beer. There are even nuns running breweries. Nuns, not nones.

The Männerhandtasche might be called a beer carto(o)n if one has as good sense of humour as yours truly enjoys. And I just made that up and I have not had a beer today.
