I found these in a box. I think they are about 25 years old, as the slogan "Think Different" was used by Apple until 2002. I was a Mac user back then, and I recognised it immediately. If I am still thinking different, I might have thought they were 50 years old. 😛

I guess they came with an issue of a computer magazine, like MacWorld, back when computer magazines were still on paper. Quite often, there was a CD enclosed. Or floppy, way back.

What really poked my memory was the 3D itself. I remember there were some short-lived tests on television. Novelty stuff. It happened in cinemas, too, although I never experienced that. These goggles reminded me it was a thing on the web. The 3dfestival site is gone but I found some others. It was barely novelty, it was a bit nauseating. I tried with my usual glasses and without. Not a very good experience. I am probably too old. After all, it is always the user's fault.

I also suspect you look pretty dumb when having these on! Plus, you show ads on your face.

Segway: I just thought of navigation lights, which are green on right, and red on left. Same with sea lanes. If you go in the lanes direction. Doh. I only know it from boating, but apparently it also is the rule on aircraft. If you are piloting, do not wear such goggles.

Segway2: Some political agendas are green-red, and, like all agendas, present maps for your navigation. Uh oh..

Segway3: If you look at artifical 3D with such goggles long enough, you might get three dementions.
