A little more about ME/CFS

I've mentioned ME/CFS a few times on this blog. I am not keeping up that much on news about it. There is more research going on, but one cannot just get excited about it yet, imho. And the "uptick" is from a very low level.

This article does not contain really any news for us who have ME/CFS or knows about it, but it is still a good overview, and it is great to have figures of the facts:

To add, average quality of life is also lower for ME/CFS than to many other well known severe and/or chronic illnesses. Not only the illness itself lowers life quality, but also one's social and economic situation (often worsened due to the illness), and also the attitudes from doctors, "experts" and political-commercial cronies.
